A recognized expert in innovation commercialization, intellectual property management and strategic development, Claude Larose excels at turning research into business opportunities. His unique track record demonstrates his know-how in technology transfer and the establishment of public and private partnerships.
IRICoR’s management team in June 2022 as Vice President, Business Development, Claude Larose is primarily responsible for establishing links and concluding agreements with entities external to IRICoR, in both the public and private sectors, with a view to exit events for projects in the portfolio.
With over 25 years’ experience in the life sciences, he has held key roles in R&D, sales, marketing and intellectual property licensing.
Prior to joining IRICoR, Claude worked in the private sector, where he negotiated and concluded a wide range of licensing and co-development agreements first at Quantum Biotechnologies and then at Thératechnologies. Then in 2013, he was a key player at the National Research Council Canada (NRC) in developing global business development, licensing and intellectual property management strategies for promising assets.
He holds a Master of Science (MSc.) in Microbiology and Immunology from the Université de Montréal. Claude has been a member of the Canadian Healthcare Licensing Association since 2004, serving on its Board of Directors from 2007 to 2017 and as President from 2013 to 2015.
